Diveagar is in Raigad district of Maharashtra. It is around 160 Km from Pune. A good trip to do is Diveagar, Srivardhan and Harihareshwar. It's a scenic journey through ghats. Try to do the journey in day time.
This is a nice beach with lot of water sports option available. There are also horse carts and motor vehicles. For brave hearts, there is Jeep parachute. Apparently I saw women mostly doing Jeep parachute. :)

The other place to see here is Ganpati temple. This temple is famous for its golden idol which was stolen. The golden idol itself was found while digging in 1997. It is alleged that the idol was melted.
